While it’s true that having a more advanced degree opens more doors for career advancement and earning potential, that’s not to say that it’s impossible to achieve a great career with a BA.

In fact, many executives and professionals have achieved great things without an advanced degree. With a little bit of planning and perseverance, you can too.

Here are a few tips on how to get started with only a BA degree at 35:

1. network

Networking is one of the most important things you can do for your career. Get connected with people in your industry, attend industry events and conferences, and join professional organizations.

Networking will help you learn about opportunities, make connections, and build your professional network.

2. learn new skills

Keep learning and developing new skills. Learning new skills will help you stay ahead of the curve in your industry and make you more marketable.

You can learn new skills by taking courses, participating in professional development programs, or even by learning on your own.

3. build your resume

Your resume is your marketing document, so make sure it’s strong and highlights your achievements.

Make sure your resume is up-to-date and tailored to the job you are applying for. And don’t forget to use keywords in your resume that match the job posting.

4. be persistent

The most successful people are usually the ones who are the most persistent. Don’t give up when things get tough – keep pushing forward.
