Scrambled cities: If you're not gonna do the work(on your soul), then you might as well work til you die

There are two tiers in normal life. Those who are survive and those who thrive.  But nothing is a mistake in life: Nothing comes by chance. You have to prepare for it.  If you thought life was about making money and beating out the Jones's, you've lost already.  Life is: Desire for connection. All unhealthy competition is isolating. We live in an isolated-enough world already. This connection comes from a surprising place: Self-acceptance. A lot of us need to go back to the classroom. Day One: Your first lesson in Hebrew

Hello, everyone! Today is my first day learning Hebrew. Here is what I learned in my first lesson:

1. Hebrew has 22 letters.

2. The Hebrew alphabet is written from right to left.

3. The Hebrew language is read from right to left.

4. Hebrew is a guttural language, which means that many of the letters are pronounced deep in the throat.

5. The Hebrew word for "hello" is shalom.

6. The Hebrew word for "goodbye" is lehitraot.

7. The Hebrew word for "thank you" is toda.

8. The Hebrew word for "I'm sorry" is lo aleinu.

Day One afforded a rewarding introduction to Hebrew. The alphabet was introduced with its accompanying vowels, and the following lessons will build upon the material covered. The fundamentals of grammar were also touched upon, laying a strong foundation for the weeks and months to follow.
