Rivers of Joy

The perfect excuse to write something joyful is others around you bringing you down for whatever reason. They've got no right to bring you down. The rich over your petty finances, the beautiful over your appearances, the popular over your loneliness.  We are not here to stare at walls and rot away.  Remember to write something or bust out in song.

How to know you're dealing with a hag

If you see that she's half hag and half sincere, that's the true sign of a real hag. It's not that she's just a pure hag. You'd run away No hag is just a straight-up hag. This is the ticket: She gets in the door with a mix of things that don't seem quite right at first but you go along with it. This is spiritual. You have to buy into it. Once you buy in, she can more or less have her way with you. She can trouble your soul to an almost infinite degree. Shave years off your life and minimize the damage in her mind. Say things like "but we've only known each other for 11 months" While her moments on IG are full of scammy sex lines like "Come ride on me, I mean Camaraderie."

The hag side is in the ugliness you see. It's that kind of diabolical ugliness that you just let go because of something primal and you use that as a peg to hang all that is angelic. But she's like that ghost in the ring. She climbs out of your phone and into your soul. She's a parasite. The mirror is one way, and she's perfectly capable of deflecting you at the flick of a switch.  She'll make you doubt your senses forevermore. She'll make you think your flow is out of whack. But really you're meddling with strange and dark energies.

She stole your fire, and now you're resentful, bitter and without a purpose. Now you have to find your purpose.
